Valentine Ideas...

Anyone have any good ideas for a fun family Valentine meal? Since we have young ones and it isn't fair to ask grandparents to babysit on such a night we are having a family date at home and I am looking for something fun for the kids, and good for us (not necessarily weight conscious, just good to eat...not a heart shaped pizza.)

So...ideas???

  3. I have Anna's recipe for chocolate lava cakes if you want it. That's what we made for Valentine's last year. They are way easy and very yummy! Adam is a steak and potato guy, so we usually do something like that. And he loves crab legs. So let me know if you want any recipes like those. I have the seasoning recipe from Outback STeakhouse. It makes the BEST steaks!

  4. Lexi had a good idea to do fondu.

So...in case anyone else is interested. I think our family is having chinese food with chopsticks and candles at the table with chocolate fondu in the mini crockpot with fruit, and cookies for dessert.

  5. That is what we did last year was Fondu and George loved it. We also ate by candle light and had chocolate fondu and Cheese fondu. I think Scarlet will have a blast with it this year!!

  6. Charlie is working on Valentines Day night, so we are having a "Happy Hearts Breakfast" to celebrate. We are doing red heart shaped pancakes, red eggs, strawberries, pink yogurt and red fruit punch. We are also going to "heart attack" Sadies bedroom door as a surprise that morning.
